The Paper House” – a black cube, an object made of cardboard and bituminous paper – abstract and formalist composition, an allegory of the local pulp and paper factory and a symbol of the industrial history of Lake Baikal. For many decades, the factory has been one of the main sources of pollution of Lake Baikal. The cube is a monument that represents the former technology company as a place that can be revitalized through the power of art.
