Task
The former site of the Gaffel Kölsch brewery is now home to a design hotel: The Urban Loft.
As a small reminiscence, we had the pleasure of designing a special Gaffe hotel room, regarding the history of the location and create a unique brand experience.
Solution
The smallest brewery in the world: We bring the biggest brewery restaurant of cologne, the Gaffel am Dom into one room.
A brass menu box lights up with the basic law of Cologne when you enter the room. Inside the wow effect: A self-photographed photo panorama of the brewery extends over an entire wall
The brewery’s interior is brought to life with a self-photographed photo panorama of the brewery covering an entire wall, combined with original bar stools and bar elements from GaD.
Further authentic details such as an old brewery glass window, a hand-painted Gaffel Köbes, a Gaffel bathrobe and beer mat carpet in the bathroom round off the experience. Gaffel Kölsch beer is of course included. Still thirsty? A short route description shows the way to its big brother, Gaffel am Dom.
