Task
The football club ‘Fortuna Düsseldorf’ had a big problem: only one step away from the first division at the time, it had significantly low membership and supporter numbers. We wanted to change that.
Solution
Together with Thomas Kötting & Underwood communications, we developed an integrated print and social media campaign that revolved around just one question: Where is your home? Every channel led to home, to the club’s membership page, from where it was easy to fill in your application.
Membership figures have risen by 50%, Fortuna is playing in the top league. And Düsseldorf has developed something like a healthy local patriotism for the first time.
