It was obvious to us that separating such a small square room with a vaulted ceiling 6 metres high with solid walls would have been an inefficient and inelegant solution.

We decided to separate the office and fitting room areas with a 2.5 metre-high carpentry wall clad with mirrors and high-gloss black plastic.

To visually expand the space, a photo of the colonnade of the Kazan Cathedral in St Petersburg was mounted on one of the walls. This photo, taken by photographer Alisa Gil, was positioned so that the perspective of the colonnade visually continued the perspective of the floor and walls of the boutique.
